Summer pre-college programs at Loyola Marymount University are an engaging opportunity for motivated high school students to get a sneak-peek at college life through a unique two- or four-week experience designed to challenge their critical and creative ways of thinking. These courses are so much more than summer school. These are transformative summer experiences that provide students the opportunity to explore academic passions, evolve as individuals, and discover what it truly means to have the heart of an LMU Lion.

This exciting summer experience is about more than what goes on in the classroom. LMU pre-college programs provide students with a place to explore interests - old and new - while meeting new people and broadening horizons. Students live in LMU's undergraduate residence halls and eat together in the Lair dining hall. Carefully chosen LMU undergraduates serve as Resident Advisors and provide guidance and supervision as well as plan night and weekend extracurricular activities both in and out of the residence hall.
