Summer Session offers an excellent opportunity to stay on track with your academic goals, accelerate your progress, or explore new areas of study in a focused learning environment.
Registration for Summer 2027 opens in November.

Summer school at LMU consists of two consecutive 6-week sessions, each the equivalent of a 16-week semester. Final exams are included within each six-week session. The sessions do not overlap and students are welcome to attend both sessions.
Summer Session I: May 17- June 25, 2027

Register on PROWLLMU Summer Grant Funding
Current LMU undergraduates attending one or both summer sessions may be eligible to receive the LMU Summer Grant to assist with tuition costs. Students seeking summer financial aid must complete a Summer Financial Aid Application. Applications for summer aid will be available in spring 2027.
The LMU Summer Grant offers institutional financial aid to undergraduate, degree-seeking students enrolled in summer.
How to Register in PROWL
The Personal Records Online Web Link (PROWL) is a secure web-based, self-service student records solution which the LMU Community uses to register for classes, access academic records, registration information, student accounts, and other University services.

For current LMU students (including Return from Leave):
Registration begins on or after the appointed time found in PROWL (Student Services > Registration > Check Your Registration Status). Appointments are based on the number of earned hours and exclude those In Progress.
To access PROWL from MYLMU:
- Login to MYLMU
- Select Academics from the top menu
- Select PROWL
Connect with an Advisor
Your success team at LMU includes an Academic Advisor and a Student Support Partner, each with a different role.
Academic Advisors help you plan your coursework, understand degree requirements, prepare for registration, and stay on track toward graduation.
Student Support Partners can help you navigate challenges, connect with campus resources, develop success strategies, and make the most of your LMU experience.

MANE HubCheck Your Progress
Remember to log into Degree Works to review your degree progress and identify which Summer Session courses fulfill your remaining requirements. Checking Degree Works regularly can help ensure timely planning and informed course selection.

Navigating Holds
Students who have holds on their account preventing course registration should contact the Student Support and Retention team for guidance. Staff can assist in understanding the nature of the hold, reviewing available options, and identifying the appropriate next steps.
