Code and Create: Building Your Own Innovative Apps with Python
Summer 2026
A hands-on exploration of python coding.
Technology is shaping every field, from medicine and entertainment to science and business and those who understand how it works will be the ones shaping the future. Learning to code isn’t just about becoming a programmer; it teaches creativity, logical thinking, and real-world problem solving. Even as AI tools grow more powerful, people with strong computer science skills are the ones who design, guide, and improve these technologies.
Curious about creating your own app and exploring careers in tech?
Join us for a hands-on, two-week Python programming course designed to build practical skills and a foundation in computer science. In the first week, you’ll dive into Python through interactive lessons and mini-projects that teach you essential programming concepts such as variables, loops, functions, and object-oriented programming. You’ll solve challenges, write your own programs, and learn how to break problems down like a computer scientist.
In the second week, you will bring your knowledge to life by developing a project and bring it to life. You will apply these concepts in a project of your choice, such as developing a game, a quiz app an interactive story, or a simple data-analysis tool.
This course doesn’t just teach you how to code, it introduces you to the skills that power careers in software development, data science, and AI engineering. Every day blends engaging lessons with hands-on coding exercises, giving you both technical skills and creative problem-solving experience. We’ll also introduce how today’s AI tools work and how they support (not replace) human programmers. Students will learn how AI can help with brainstorming, debugging, problem-solving, and designing ethical and responsible technology.
By the end, you will have a basic understanding of Python and a project to showcase, perfect for future internships or college applications.
